The Ivory Suit

The ivory suit is a great alternative to the white suit. This suit gives off a very similar look to the white suit without the easy stain ability of the white suit.

Usually a white suit or any type of white cloth will start to turn a dirty looking grayish color in several areas. This type of discoloration is not quite as noticeable in ivory as it is in its white counterpart.

This color is best worn to fun formal events such as proms, award ceremonies, and other like events. Office settings and interviews are not good places to wear ivory colored suits. Neither are funerals and more somber formal events.

People of all complexions can wear this color suit. However, people with darker skin colors tend to look better than their pale friends. Body types looking for a slimming effect from their clothing should steer clear of this shade.

You can find this color suit in one, two, three, four, five, and even six button jacket models. Both flat fronted and pleated ivory pants are also quite easy to find.

Places to find this color include many online stores as well as brick and mortar stores. Expect to even find this color at your local suit rental vendor.
