Leisure Suits

Leisure suits still haven't quite caught on yet; however, you can get a hold of one pretty easily if you put your mind to it. These suits are yet another product of the 70's and their fight for non-conformity.

The general populace was looking for something to wear to work that wouldn't feel like the formal work uniform of the business suit. I think they were missing the entire point of the suit when they came up with this one but thats another story.

Quick Facts:

1. Materials and colors vary widely but polyester ranks high.

2. Prices on these vintage pieces are higher now than they were when they were new.

3. Practical uses for this type of suit don't really exist any more, but it doesn't make them any less comfortable.
