Meeting with Clients On Business Casual Day

Many people feel that because it is business casual day they do not have to worry about their image. This type of thinking is flawed and can lead to a loss of business.

Even if your office has a Business Casual dress code or Casual Fridays, it is important to dress professionally when meeting with clients. On a more casual day, opt for a more fashionable or less traditional suit.

For example a patterned jacket or interesting fabric paired with a neutral pant style would give off an impression of class and professionalism while still being laid back. A sports jacket would also be an excellent choice and for a more casual look it can be paired with a neutral v-neck or turtleneck.

If you are still resistant to wearing a suit, at least opt for knit or button down shirts and wool pants.
