the guide to mens suits

S Cohen Suits

S Cohen suits are created by a Canadian manufacturer in French influenced Montreal. Unlike many other designers, S Cohen has exclusively focused on men's suits, jackets, and trousers.

They are known for their innovative suit fabrics and have been featured on CBS, NBC, ABC, Newsweek, and many other publications.

Customers have the option of buying off the rack suits as well as suits made to their specifications.

Currently the S Cohen brand owns the Perry Ellis and Nautica labels as well as Weather Report, Abito, and Mcgregor. Other labels include the prestige, SC Modern, Performance, and SC Soft.

Style

Pants include pleats, reverse pleats, double pleats, and even flat front models. Jackets consist mostly of three button models but you can find both two button and double breasted models as well.

Material

Fabrics consist mostly of high end wool for overall suit construction. However, you will also notice new age material designed to help ease the burden of an ever growing waist line. It is not uncommon to find stretch guard panels on the front of pants along with performa stretch waistbands inside.

Color

Colors come in both dull and vibrant shades. Ranges are not as wide as some other brands.

Price

Full suits range from $300 to $500. The value will come in the form of the materials rather than any clever styling or extra ordinary attention to detail.

Conclusion

Overall this company makes decent suits for its price point, just don't expect lots of hand stitching and canvassed jackets.
