Mmm Kay..
by: Anonymous

It seems you might have bought a long when you needed a regular length. Or maybe I'm seeing a poor image on my computer. Other than that, unless it is a rental, I'll echo the comments of others and suggest you taper the jacket in the waist. And I can't see the shoes... so here's to hoping they are either patent leather black dress shoes or black dress shoes with a mirror shine.

If you think you'll be doing more of these
black-tie events, and you haven't purchased a tuxedo, I suggest you do. If you look around in the right spots, you might actually save yourself money in the long run and have a tux you can tailor to your liking.

Don't have too much fun and puke on your tux. That's exceptionally bad form. And it truly sucks if it's a rental. The only thing worse is if you were to actually purchase one, and ruin it on the very FIRST wear. Tsk tsk.

Not a bad start, now bring it home

The jacket looks passable enough. A few tips:
1)Take it to a tailor to have the jacket and possibly shirt sleeves shortened to show a bit of cuff.
2)While you're there, have the tailor take it in at the sides.
3)The limp, modern wing collar is a shadow of its former glory. A turndown collar is more advisable.
4)That front pocket is looking lonely. Throw in a white pocket square.
5)Get a real black bow tie, and learn to tie it. Clip-ons are no good.
6)If you're wearing a black cummerbund, good. If not, get one.

Nice Look!
by: Anonymous

The tux fits great. I would suggest that you show some more shirt in the sleeve by pulling down the cuff. The jacket ends where it is supposed to, but the shirt needs to be pulled down. I am thinking of going to LS as I have heard great things about his products and have been recommended more than once. You seem to be very happy about your suit-please tell us about your experience. Is this a made to measure or one of his off the rack? How was the service?

The tux looks good on you, but have you ever considered going with a bit more fitted look?
