The Yellow Suit

The yellow suit is back in fashion and contrary to popular belief, yellow has become more than a color for summer and can be found in various shades such as cognac and mustard. A vast style of suits for the office can be found at many department stores and prestigious fashion lines. White shoes should complete the look elegantly. Yellow is bold and vibrant, a great statement for the fashion fanatic.

There are a variety of styles to be worn. The common pinstripe is still a great hit and definitely fits in all seasons. From multi buttoned jackets to plain broad shouldered informal jackets. A matching pair of trousers is not necessary. White pants should coordinate beautifully.

Like any other suit, a great shirt is needed compliment the jacket. In winter, do not hesitate to wear your suit with a light colored scarf around your neck and a white woolen sweater underneath your jacket. Try to keep the colors neutral and don’t go to the extreme.

If you are looking for an over the top look; a white top hat, or one of similar style, should leave you looking a cut above the rest.

Whether you are looking for a casual or formal look, do look out for yellow as the fashion train might just leave you behind.
